Marney Vandemark, MA, LPC, LBS
I'm glad you are looking for support and have taken this step. You can feel better. I find that many of my clients come to therapy because they want things to change. They are feeling ineffective in some area of their lives. This is often sparked by reaching a tipping point or experiencing life-altering events, so people tend to show up when they are not in a great place. I provide support with a range of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship problems and work stress. Therapy as a collaborative journey. Let's meet to explore your experiences without judgment and to help you develop new coping strategies.
I offer a comprehensive approach to mental health and personal growth, drawing from various evidence-based modalities. These include CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate humanistic principles, mindfulness-based stress reduction, and somatic therapy to provide a holistic treatment experience.
My approach is client-centered, recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. I'll listen attentively, offer guidance, and provide tools to help you build resilience and foster positive change. Remember, seeking help is a sign of strength, not weakness. If you're ready to take the first step towards a more fulfilling life, I'm here to support you.
