Tyler Wilson, MEd, LAPC
I am a licensed associate professional counselor with a background in school counseling, where I have worked with children and adolescents across a wide range of developmental, academic, social, and emotional needs. I specialize in working with kids of all ages and enjoy helping young people build confidence, resilience, and practical coping skills they can use in school and everyday life.
As a former college athlete and current coach, I also have a strong interest in supporting student-athletes as they navigate performance pressure, identity, motivation, and balancing sports with academics and personal life. I understand the unique demands that come with competitive environments and strive to help clients develop both mental strength and self-compassion.
My clinical approach is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where children and adolescents feel heard and understood. I often integrate cognitive-behavioral strategies, emotional regulation skills, and strengths-based techniques tailored to each client’s needs. My goal is to help young people feel more confident, connected, and equipped to handle life’s challenges.
Please contact me and we can discuss how I can help.
